- When OD Ver1.3.0 is released, users using Android 4.4 or older versions will no longer be able to download OD from Google Play Store.
- Users who have Android Ver4.4 or older version can continue using the old version of OD if they already have it installed.
- We recommend users to upgrade their device to Android 5 or later.
- TLS1.0 support to end by May 31st 2019.
- Due to the direction from Olympus Corporate, we will need to end the support for TLS 1.0
- (Transport Layer Security) according to the latest security policy.
- Users who continue to use OD on Android Ver.4.4 or older will no longer be able to send dictation after June 2019. At this point, users must upgrade their device to Android 5 or later in order to use the service.

Olympus Dictation App 1.1.0

- Changed the alert message when sending dictations to say “The file transmission may be suspended if the Home/Sleep button is pressed. A notification shows up in such an event. Tap the notification to resume.”
- When a user presses the Home/Sleep button during the sending of a file, the app goes in to the
- background and will continue to send for a limited period of time. If the transmission of the file has not completed in this time, the user will receive a notification which prompts them to complete the file transmission.
- Files larger than 200MB cannot be sent to the ODP, when selecting files from a FlashAir card larger
- than this size, an error message is displayed.

- Dealers can now issue up to 100 trial licenses, rather than 3.
- Customers were required to agree with the EULA when they ordered a Standard License for the first time. Customers were also required to agree with the EURA also when they create their ODP account.
- With the new release, Customers have to agree with the EURA only once when they open their ODP account.
- Customer now receives a “Welcome” email after they have gone through the initial set up, on the
- “Change Smartphone Password” screen they are told to refer to this email.
- A password guideline is displayed in all windows where a new password is entered.
- Restrictions on disabling accounts have been removed, now accounts can be disabled at any time.
- A Purchase Order number can now be included when issuing a Standard license.
- Renewal notification process has changed.
- The BCC field for accounts is now available for license issue notifications.
- Users now receive a warning message when they are leaving a Window, to confirm they want to leave without saving the changes
- Distributors, Countries and BC’s can now also retrieve licenses they have issued to an account below them
- Support for Austria, Swiss, South Africa, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland is added.
