Setting up E-mail within Olympus DSS Player Pro Release 5

• Open the Olympus software and click on Tools > Options.
• Click on the E-mail / FTP tab.

• Click on the Add button.

• Select the Internet E-mail (POP3/SMTP) then press next.
• You will now need to fill in the email account settings. You should be able to identify these settings, for example POP3 / SMTP Server, on the internet.
• Once you have entered these settings, click on “Advanced Settings...”

• Some email providers may require to enable SMTP Authentication, this can be done in the “Advanced settings” menu as shown below.

• You may also be required to enable SSL for both SMTP and POP3, you do this by simply ticking the box that says, “This server needs secured connection (SSL)”

• After inputting this data, please make sure to check it works by pressing the “Test settings” button.
• Once the settings tests succeed, follow through the rest of the wizard and click “Finish” to add your e-mail profile.
