- You will now be prompted to specify user information and the IP address of the License Manager.

- A new window will appear. You will see the name of your domain. Right click on this area, scroll down to New and select Organisational Unit. You will need to create two Organisational Units, one for Dictation and one for Transcription.
Please see the following slide for an alternative method.

- Alternatively if you already have Organisational Units with existing Group Policies you can add a Sub Organisational Unit to your existing one and move the necessary Computers into it. This will allow the Group Policy Object from the parent folder to still enforce the sub folder, but a new GPO can be created for the sub folder for just the software deployment.

- Click on the Computers folder (or the folder that contains the computers you want to deploy to). You will need to separate the computers into the Organisational Units to determine which computer Dictation / Transcription modules are installed to. To do this right click on a computer, select All Tasks and then Move.

- A new window will appear. Select either your Dictation or Transcription Organisational Unit to move the computer to. Highlight the Organisational Unit and click OK.

- The computer will now appear in the Organisational Unit.

- To continue return to your desktop, click Start browse to Administrative Tools and select Group Policy Management.

- A new window will appear. Expand your Forest to reveal further settings.

- When the Forest is fully expanded you will see the folders available in Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Right click on the Organisational Unit for either Dictation or Transcription.
- Select Create a GPO in this domain...
- This will need to be done separately for Dictation and Transcription deployments.

- Rename the GPO to your preference and click OK.

- Expand the Organisational Unit and your new GPO will appear.
- Right click on the GPO and select Edit...

- A new window will appear. Under Computer Configuration expand the Policies and the Software Settings section.

- Click on Software Installation.
- In the empty section on the right of the screen, right click, select New and Package...

- A new window will appear. Now we need to browse to the DSS Player package in the Repository.
- To do this click on Desktop.
- Now click on Network.

- Find and click on your server.

- Now locate the shared folder with the Repository in it and open this too.

- Continue to expand the folders from Repository then Softwares until you locate your DSSPlayer.msi file.
- Select the DSSPlayer.msi and click Open.

- From the dialog box select the Advanced deployment method.

- After a short delay a new window will appear.
- Click on the Modifications tab. It is recommended all other settings are retained

- Click the Add… button to add the MST Configuration file to the package.

- Browse to and open the custom MST file you have created from the list.

- The custom MST file will be added to the modifications list.
- Click OK to continue.

- The package will be added to the list after a short delay.
