Clean Function
The Clean function automatically deletes old files after a specified amount of time has elapsed. Old files can be deleted using one of two methods:
1. By directly deleting them from their folder.
2. By moving them to the Recycle Box and optionally specifying the same clean function on the Recycle Box.
To setup the Clean function, follow the steps:
- Click on Tools > Options in DSS Player Pro.

From the Dictation Tray list on the left, select the folder in which you would like to enable the Clean function.

Under the Actions section on the left side, you will see the Clean setting at the bottom. Expand the setting by clicking the +, then click the … button as shown in the image below.

A new window will appear. Tick the Enable Cleaning box, then the settings below can be specified.

Specify the frequency of cleaning, and how to perform the cleaning function. Click OK to confirm settings.

Now the cleaning of the specified folder will occur at the specified time. If you want to perform this function on more than one folder, repeat the steps for all other folders, alternatively configure the settings for the Download Tray, as this will filter the settings to all the folders (Folder A – G).
