Software Updates
DSS Player Pro R5 features automatic software updates. By default R5 will check the Olympus download server every 4 weeks. To manually check for updates:
- Launch DSS Player Pro R5
- Choose Help -> Check for Update -> Software from the menu. This will show updates from the Olympus Download Server.
- Click Yes button to start the download. This will launch the software update program automatically.
- Follow the on screen instructions to complete the update.
If the update service appears disabled, the client module maybe in Workgroup Mode and the option disabled on the client side. In this case refer to the SCP on the Server.
