Functionality added to DS-5000: Disable SD Card Slot
We are pleased to announce that the latest version of firmware for the DS-5000 includes the ability to disable the SD Card slot. This is in response to a number of requests from users who are having issues with Mapped network drives conflicting with the 2 memory slots of the DS-5000. Although this is a known issue with the Windows Operating System, the latest firmware update for the DS-5000 will permanently resolve the issue.
To enable this functionality simply update the Firwmare to 1.0.6. and DSS Player Pro to 5.0.11.0. The new feature can be found inside the Device Settings menu as shown in the screenshot below.
