Installing DSS Player for Mac
- Insert the DSS Player Pro Release 5 CD into the optical drive.
- This will open a new window, double click the Setup icon to begin installation.
- You may be prompted to confirm installation, click Continue.
- You will be presented with a brief introduction, click Continue.
- Next, read and agree to the Software License Agreement, click Continue.
- You will have to confirm you agree to the License, click Agree.
- Here you can change your install location, however default settings are recommended, when you are ready click Install.
- You will be prompted to confirm installation, click Continue Installation.
- A message will appear to tell you if installation was successful, you may need to restart your computer, click Restart.
- When your computer has restarted, select Applications from the Finder window.
- Browse your applications and locate the DSS Player folder, double click to open.
- A new window will appear, to start the software click the DSS Player icon.
- You can drag this icon to the dockd to make accessing the program in the future much faster.
- Open the application, enter your license key to begin using the software. You will find the license key on the green or blue license paper supplied with the product. The Apple Mac license is at the bottom of the page.
