Standalone / Single User License Model

A License paper is supplied with each kit and the key is required at point of installation. Two version of the software are available:

• Dictation Module (DM). Focus is set on downloading and sending of audio files by the author.
• Transcription Module (TM). Focus is set on the reception and transcription of audio files by the typist.

The CD's supplied are generic but the installed version is license key dependant. Each version is customised to each type of user. As a result, the Dictation Module does not support the use of a foot control.

If you install DSS Player Pro onto multiple PCs using the same license ID the message "Maximum Number of Licenses Exceeded. Please contact your Dealer" will appear each time you open the application. Software functionality / stability maybe impaired.

Multi User License (MUL) Model

If you are looking to deploy Release 4 for the first time:

• We now recommend you upgrade to DSS Player Pro R5. Please contact you dealer or ourselves for further information.

If you already have a existing Multi User License:

If R4 is already deployed in your environment and you are looking to add users, we still offer license additions. Select Upgrade My MUL from the menu and enter the required information. You need to enter your MUL ID to complete the form. This can be found on your original MUL certificate in the top right corner.
