 Audio Quality

• Microphone Housing – The enhanced, uni-directional microphone contained in a state-of-the-art housing delivers the highest possible audio quality for dictation and voice recognition.

• Speaker – The 28mm loudspeaker delivers crisp sound quality for optimum audio performance.

• Volume Control – The DirectRec II now features an on-board volume control to adjust the sound level on the device, thus eliminating the need to use PC controls whilst dictating and reviewing sound files.

• Optimised for Speech Recognition – The DirectRec II has been awarded the highest possible score available for a USB Microphone with Dragon Naturally Speaking. 

Usability & Reliability

• Optical Trackball – The newly designed trackball incorporates a smooth surface, high precision laser and larger diameter to improve accuracy, reduce movements and deliver consistent PC navigation.
  

• Programmable Function Buttons -  Every button on the DirectRec II can be configured to perform a number of custom functions. The device also features four dedicated programmable function buttons to deliver maximum functionality and flexibility.

• Robustly designed USB Cable – The USB cable has been enhanced and includes an embedded cable knot for maximum tensile strength. The cable itself is 10 times more reliable than a standard USB lead.
