Lost / Forgotten PIN

Steps to try if you have forgotten your PIN and cannot access your DS-5000 / DS-5000iD

Step 1.
Contact your IT Administrator/Department Manager. The person who manages the Olympus software may have a record of assigned PIN numbers.

Step 2.
If you cannot locate your original PIN number the DS-5000/iD will have to be returned to the Olympus Service Centre to be unlocked.

If your device displays "Device is Locked, Contact Administrator" it will have to be returned to the Olympus Service Centre to be unlocked. This is a security feature of the DS-5000/iD to protect content from misuse.

Any locked DS-5000/iD's that are returned to the Olympus Service Centre will be fully erased of any data and returned to factory default. This procedure is followed for security reasons.
