Configuring DSS Player Standard (SR1)
Follow this guide to setup the recommended option settings in DSS Player Standard for optimal performance of the software.
The below instructions apply to the Dictation Module
- Open DSS Player Standard, select Tools and Options...

Enable Auto Download of dictated files by selecting Download Tray, then choose Yes from the Auto Download drop-down box.

Enable Auto Deletion of downloaded audio files by selecting the Workflow tab at the top of the options menu. Select Download and tick the check boxes as shown in the image below.

Repeat this for Import.
The below instructions apply to the Transcription Module

Repeat the above steps and follow the additional step below for the Transcription Module.

To open a Word Processor automatically when you begin a transcription click on the Workflow tab, then select Transcription and tick the check box as shown in the image below.

Then click the “...” button to browse for the Word Processors .exe file.

Search for the application. E.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office\winword.exe

Select OK
